Who we are
Founded in 2021, Mental Wealth Today (MWT) raises mental health awareness, reduces stigma, and promotes well-being in a safe space. Through visual media, blogs, and products, MWT helps millions affected by mental illness discover they are not alone and that there is hope for improvement. While mental health is gaining attention in pop culture and media, neglecting it can harm individuals and communities, and our society faces a great challenge to grow in emotional intelligence and improve for the betterment of our future as a whole. MWT works to normalize mental health alongside physical health and education by providing the necessary resources and information for personal growth.
MWT fosters positive change and mental health awareness by encouraging individuals to enhance their lives, emphasizing actionable outcomes through free content or products like mental health apparel and courses. We celebrate the courage to address challenges, acknowledging that everyone's healing journey is unique. Have a suggestion for our content? Contact us today via email; we’d love to hear your ideas!
Who Is Alicia?
Hello there! I'm Alicia Summers, a mental health therapist and LPC supervisor in Westminster, Colorado. As a behavioral health expert in the Army Reserves, I assist soldiers in maintaining their mental health while they are engaged in battles and carry out various other duties while serving the nation. I've always had a strong passion for helping others with their mental health issues, and serving as a mental health therapist for the past few years has only strengthened that passion.
I have grown passionate about helping others who may suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other expected effects of military service and battles, as I frequently hear from service members who come to me for assistance with their post-service transitioning. Similarly, I offer the same quality mental health support to those outside of the military, as I believe all people are in need of someone to walk with in life, no matter what kind of life they have.
My goal in creating this webpage is to spread as much information as possible and encourage individuals who require assistance to ask for it confidently and eradicate the stigma attached to mental health. Mental health awareness is vital to create a compassionate society!
Got any good books, media or other material for me to look into? I’d LOVE to hear from you about that! Visit the contact page for ways to contact me and send me your ideas!
